Robert Martin, MBA

Robert D. Martin is a Daytona Beach Entrepreneur and President and Chief Executive Officer of Martin Daytona Corporation.

Through it's a various subsidiaries and divisions Martin Daytona Corporation is ^ currently engaged in a number of businesses including Real Estate development, General Contracting, Property Management, Real Estate Brokerage, Business Consulting and Masonry Construction. Martin Daytona Corporation was established in 1955 by Martin's father and Robert Martin joined the company after graduation from college in early 70's.

Through Martin Daytona Corporation and other real estate partnerships Robert Martin has been a principal involved in a number of Volusia County Developments including the Daytona Beach Marriot, Martin Business Park, The Ashley Condominiums and others.

Martin has a Masters of Business Administration from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business graduating with straight "A's" and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma honorary scholastic fraternity. Martin received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance from the University of Florida.

Martin currently serves as a board member of the SunTrust bank of East Central Florida; a board member of the Center for Entrepreneurship at Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business; a member of the Civic League of the Halifax area; and a board member of the Florida Chapter of the World's Presidents Organization.

Martin served in numerous civic and industry organizations, including past President of the Chamber of Commerce of Daytona Beach, past Chairman of the Florida Transportation Builders Association, past Campaign Chairman and past President of the United Way of the Volusia County, past Chairman of the Asphalt Contractors Association of Florida, past chairman of Hug (Halifax Unity Group),

Founding President of the Alumni Association of Leadership Daytona Beach, past board member of the Halifax Medical Center appointed by Governor Bob Graham, past Board Member of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, past Board Member of the Florida Tax Watch, past Board Member of VCARD (Volusia County Association for Responsible Development).

Robert Martin is the past recipient of the FOYMF Award (Five Outstanding Young Men of Florida) awarded by the Florida Jaycee's and past recipient of Daytona Beach Outstanding Young Man awarded by the Daytona Beach Jaycee's.

Martin holds a license as a Florida Certified General Contractor and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and a member of the National Association of Realtors.
